Well alright! I have completed Fallout 4 a week or so ago. Between my first complete play through as well as getting the Platinum Trophy, I have clocked over 340 hours. That’s about right i’d say. That number runs average for most of the Bethesda games I play or have played. I’m pretty sure my steam account said I had passed the 400 mark with Skyrim. But the question must be asked; “Was it worth it”?
I’m going to break that question down with how i feel best answers that multi level question.
The money portion I without question say “YES”! I’m already contemplating another play through. I most certainly feel the $50 – $60 (can’t remember) tag on the box is worth it. I got more entertainment and satisfaction from that game for paying that price.
I never experienced a bug or issue that impeded my progress or deluded the enjoyment factor. That is not to say it had no bugs or issues. Its a Bethesda game. it will have bugs that piss gamers off for the rest of its existence. head on over to the Nexus and see how many bug fix and “Unofficial Game Patches” that are available for all Fallout and Elder Scrolls titles. That Being said, i’ll nitpick the small stuff another time. Well the fact Curie runs back to Vault 81 every time I dismiss her really grinds my gears. -_-
Answering the “Is Fallout 4 worth it” question doesn’t really require a long winded explanation. just a bit of organization of facts. I really enjoyed my time with it. I also look forward to what the DLC will bring to the game.
Let me know what you think. Did you enjoy your time with it? Are you still fully into it? Do you “Role Play” like I do? Most importantly, Was it worth it for you? 🙂
