If at first you see this and are a bit confused, it isn’t you! As you play a class and make your choices in your spec web, You will learn more and more that it really isn’t that hard to understand. However it my piss you right the hell off if you realize 30+ levels in that you went the wrong way in the spec web. This can be fixed with Re-spec items in-game. The VERY rare items in-game. You can also use the “Trade Chat” to strike up any kind of deal with people that have them, and willing to part with them if you make the deal sweet. Remember This game has NO “Currency” as we otherwise used to in games like this. No Gold! No Gil, No Platinum, No Credits. You will get to learn that the games Augmented items are the “Currency”. The more rare, the more valuable they are. And that is what makes these items great for trades. Throw in some rare gear you don’t need/want with a few of those mentioned items, and you may have yourself a lucky trade agreement for those re-spec points. Or anything in the game you need/want for that matter.
What was i saying before the “Currency” thing? Oh!
I made a Witch. I like this class and it’s really fun to play. It is one of the pure stat classes. This means it has only one stat it needs to work with. You are not limited however to that stat, but it is recommended. So i realized in the first 20 minutes of playing that i could be a Puppet Master. If you know well enough, you will know that this is my favorite type of class. Also called a Necromancer or Minion Master. So the first thing i did was start putting points into the spec web that would benefit this kind of game play. I also noticed however, that zombies i can raise are really weak at first. There really isn’t a way around it that i am aware of. In my case i decided to also put points in my Fire damage and AoE radius. This will help me Melt the mobs, and more of them at a time. I have since referred to this idea as the Inferno Puppet Master build.
The mechanic of this idea is quite simple. I run in and round up the mobs and head back towards my minions. Now the mobs run into a flesh wall. I simply rain Fire over them. dead!!!!! Faces Melted!!! So much fun.
I’ll be posting game-play videos on YouTube. I’m still learning this game, but if you want to see something specific, i’ll try my best to get it for you. Until then I highly recommend trying this game out, if you haven’t already. its a lot of fun.
